When It's A Sign Or Symbol, God Tells Us

In the Scripture, when God wants to let us know He is giving us a sign or a symbol for something, He tells us. Revelation 12 is a beautiful example of this as God refers to Israel and then to satan and the kingdoms which support him. If God doesn't show us that He's giving us a sign or symbol, we accept His Word literally.
