What Does The Lord Call His Church To Do?

Here are some things God specifically tells us to be involved in as His church: Honor widows who are widows indeed. 1 Timothy 5:3; Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit (be concerned about and relieve) orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. James 1:27 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20 (NASB)
