Pastorial Staff

Pastor Wayne Dudley is a Denver native, attended Aurora Public Schools, and graduated with a Bachelors of Education Degree from Metropolitan State College. He performed his graduate studies at Southern Arkansas State Univeristy, and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

In the late 60's, he served on the Aurora Police Department, and in the 70's he and his wife, Patti, moved to Arkansas and Georgia where he taught in the public school system. Coming back to Denver in 1978, he returned to a career in law enforcement with the Denver Police Department. Pastor Wayne currently serves as the senior pastor of Smoky Hill Baptist Church in Centennial Colorado.

Pastor Wayne states that he and his wife Patti are richly blessed as God continues to lead them in applying His will in their lives. The words of Jesus Christ in John 15:16 are full of meaning for both of them: "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-- fruit that will last."
